I've been doing film study and analysis on Michigan for most of the last 9 years. This is good stuff! You nailed it! I will say that not all of the passing concepts were easy 1-route or half-field reads. There are a few examples of JJ being allowed to get in the shotgun and read the entire field. He had success most of the time doing it after some early struggles at the beginning of the year. This year could be even more run-heavy if Alex Orji is the starter. A lot of option and RPO. 〽

This is going to anger many on here but the truth doesn't care about your feelings. Your football program instituted a methodical cheating plan that was implemented in 2021 and was not suspended until the Conference suspended Harbaugh for the last 3 games of the season for CHEATING. I don't care if you don't like that fact but it IS a fact. The bill is coming for this and even a segment of you nitwits doesn't even believe that your program is guilty of breaking major NCAA rules. I loved this, watched the whole thing at 3/4 am when I couldn’t sleep and it has me convinced to start drinking the kool aid and deep dive on wishbone since where I live (Louisiana, specifically south Louisiana), you’ll see spread 70% of the time, then 25% of the time it’s either the I or you’ll see a lot of split back veer compared to the rest of the country because Acadiana and John Curtis win with it a lot, then the rest is the odd Wing-T here and there where a coach will lead one special year and then the admin will be all too giddy to get rid of that coach when they’re in rebuild phase, with the occasional flexbone or single/double wing (for single wing it was actually a coach you invited on once and he replied to my comment where he mentioned implementing some double wing concepts with probably the most successful double wing coach I’ve seen in this state). I’ve never seen a wishbone run down here in my 10-15 years of loosely following.

Could you do a video covering a pass game install for your offense answering questions such as -which concepts you use like (Mesh, flood, scat, and etc.) -How many variations of each concept (different variations of flood and scat you use) -How many variations of these concepts do you need (like 3 flood, 3 scats, 3 meshes?) And any other information that you feel is valuable to know

The only team that put up a fight was OSU, as God intended. Michigan gave Alabama the ball 3x, realistically they would have embarrassed Bama 28+ to 10.

It will be interesting to see if the new college football video game coming out brings this offense and the flexbone to a new generation. Because they are both in the game so a lot of people will be uncovering it for the first time soon.

I get the ease of one word plays but it kinda restricts throwing in wrinkles. I prefer a universal system that’s learned. Once you learn the system the play, even if longer, is understood. It’s like the difference in a piano player memorizing a song vs learning to read music. The latter can play any song you put in front of him.

What series or 2 would you recommend for 2nd/3rd graders? No one pulls linemen in our league but id like to try

Does that mean all the concepts inside outside zone counter stick corner cross etc… would they all be ran out of each formation going left and right ? So would it be 104 plays ? 13 plays going left and right would be 26. But that would that be for 1 formation. Would you do them for the other 3 formations as well? Or are we just picking any formations and having 26 plays total left and right? Any advice is appreciated.
